Local Meat Club | Raw Milk Club uses SMS text messaging to communicate with members and drivers regarding order confirmations, delivery notifications, estimated arrival times, driver route links, and order cutoff reminders. By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to receive text messages from us, you consent to receive these communications.

 

▶ Message Frequency Disclosure 

Message frequency varies based on your order and delivery activity. Members may receive up to 3–5 SMS messages per delivery week, including order confirmation, driver dispatch notification, delivery confirmation, and order cutoff reminders. Drivers may receive route link notifications on each scheduled delivery day.

 

▶ Rates Disclosure 

Message and data rates may apply. Standard carrier message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

 

▶ Opt-In Method

You opt in to receive SMS messages when you provide your mobile phone number during membership application at localmeatclub.org or during driver onboarding via our driver portal. Drivers and members explicitly consent to SMS communications as part of their enrollment. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of membership or purchase.

 

▶ How to Opt Out 

You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any text message you receive from us. You may also opt out by contacting us at (614) 377-3807 or info@localmeatclub.com. After opting out, you will receive a one-time confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent.

▶ Non-Sharing of Mobile Numbers 

We will not share, sell, rent, or trade your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in data with any third party for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile numbers collected for SMS communications are used solely to send order and delivery notifications related to your Local Meat Club membership or driver role. This data is not shared with advertisers, marketing partners, or any third parties for commercial purposes unrelated to your service with Local Meat Club | Raw Milk Club.

Do We Share the Information We Collect With Third Parties?

We may share the information that we collect, both personal and non-personal, with third parties such as contest sponsors, promotional and marketing partners, and others who provide our content or whose products or services we think may interest you. We may also share it with our current and future affiliated companies and business partners, and if we are involved in a merger, asset sale, or other business reorganization, we may also share or transfer your personal and non-personal information to our successors-in-interest.

Payment Details

In respect to any credit card or other payment processing details you have provided us, we commit that this confidential information will be stored in the most secure manner possible. We do not retain payment card information on our systems after a transaction is complete.

Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13 without verified parental consent. If you are a parent or guardian and are aware that your child has provided us with personal data without your permission, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from anyone under the age of 13 without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information from our servers.
